"A unique learning tool that every guitarist should own,"
Pros: It is everything they say it is.
Cons: You still have to work to learn guitar.
Summary: I don't know how you could compare this to anything else, because there is really nothing else like it. If all you want to do is bang away at an electric guitar and play "Smoke on the Water", then save your money and buy a Squire or other strat clone. On the other hand if you are serious about learning guitar and you want to know about chords, arpeggios, triads, scales, etc. then you should get one of these. I also recommend the "Guitarz" program that Optek offers. It's about thirty bucks more, but well worth it.
