"Beautiful professional looking discs"
Pros: This printer only prints on about a 1" X 3" area of the disc. It's designed to print upside down as well so you can print on the top and bottom of the disc. You can also get creative and rotate the disc to get full 360? coverage. Without a computer thi
Cons: You kind of need special discs. Many discs come with a fairly matte surface for easier writing. This printer doesn't transfer well to those, it requires a smooth surface. I haven't experimented much, but I use TDK DVD-R's model DVD-R47CCB25. These als

"Waste of money...ribbon is outrageously expensive"
Pros: Good idea
Cons: Print quality horrible. Can only print on the top or bottom of the CD, leaving the sides to go to waste. Lots of space wasted on ribbon. Ribbon too expensive. Software does not execute well with XP Professional. I have to reboot often. Sometimes when

Pros: Prints onto printable CD's without a problem. Software easy to use.

Pros: Prints on many media since it is a thermal printer rather than ink jet.
Cons: Quality isn't great but mostly the ribbons cost a fortune! Usually $10 a piece which will print on 20 - 40 CD's depending on if you print on top and bottom or just one. I'm running through ribbons like candy!
