Cons It can get dangerously hot!!
Summary This chip is awesome. I do not think I have ever seen it lag or stuggle to open or run applications. I can use adobe creative suite and watch a dvd simultaneously without any skipping at all. My only problem with it was that it was getting dangerously hot, up to 50 degrees celsius (once it gets to 50 your performance goes way down)!! I remedied this by upgrading to a cooler case with a top heat-extracting fan, and also installed a Tuniq Tower 120, so now my CPU temp is around 38. Much better!

Summary this is a great chip. I have had zero problems. My computer doesn't overheat and I bought this processor for $220 at newegg.com. I used an Asus mother board(p5b) and kingston ddr2 800 ram. Stuff works great together.
