"Inconsistent - SO Keep it Small"
Summary: We're a big corporation and use it a lot (100's of licenses) and the software can act entirely different day to day. When you make edits and save they may or may not take. I still scratch my head when I save edits one day and the next day they are all gone or only some of them took. You simply can't rely on the information when that occurs. Older versions were a bit more reliable. I'm the 'guru' here and have people bringing me so many problems with 2002 that Microsoft should hire me. I wonder if the 'Big Dig' in Boston used this - then that would explain the huge cost overruns and confusion. The software works good for small simple projects, but becomes unstable the larger the project gets. Of all Microsoft software I've used, this crashes the most and I have a new Pentium 4 Compaq computer with XP and over 500MB of RAM. Keep your project simple and you'll be OK. Have a big complex project, then use a different software.
