Pros: On digital channels and DVD, this TV is as good as any Plasma or DLP I looked at! It's looks, features and picture were well worth seeking it out! Nobody had it available except Circuit City and I was fortunate to get one.
Cons: A liitle pricy but I have decided it was worth the price and wait. Standard channels need a little tweaking to enjoy but that was expected.

Pros: Great picture, Good looks. We purchased this TV last week instead of the Sony, so far we have no regrets. The DVD's we watch are excellent and the comcast HDTV (when we can get them are excellent)
Cons: Had trouble programming the Sony surrond sound/DVD system, and cable box into the Hitachi remote. Still have too many remotes.

Pros: Bought set from Circuit City a month ago and has been enjoying the fantastic picture and sound quality of this set. It is better than the Samsung Pedestral DLP in my opinion.

Pros: When to my University City circuit city in Charlotte, NC they immediately pointed me to this beauty. Picture quality was the best in the store without going to a plasma and I got a HD dvd player to go with it. AV network help me setup my components with
Cons: A little heavier than I thought by still light compared to older models. Can't find the custom built stand, even on Hitachi website.

Pros: HOOKED THIS AWESOME PERFORMING LCD UP WITH AN UP CONVERSION SAMSUNG DVD PLAYER AND DISH NETWORK SATELITE HDTV RECEIVER .BEYOND WORDS !
Cons: SOME PROGRAMING WITH THE DVD PLAYER COULD BE DIFFICULT WITH THOSE NEW TO THIS FORMAT.MAKE SURE WHEN PLAYING DOLBY FORMAT PLAYER IS SET TO BITSTREAM !
