Pros: Wonderful picture, great sound, lightweight(with wheels), all necessary inputs/connections, easy set up
Cons: Started with Analog cable until the Satilite dish arrived, grainy look until hooked up to digital.
Summary: We originally went to buy the 57 inch Toshiba, but they were out and had no more at the manufactures nearby. Sears also wouldnt give a rain check! Hmmph!
We wer GOING to buy a TV that day and took a chance with Hitachi. Its been several months, we have had ZERO problems. Color, quality is first rate, dvd, DVR, Satilite connections all have a clear picture and you can even tell the difference in different shades of white and black.
We were suprised to find smooth wheels on the tv. Its super easy to manuever around when needing to clean. Handles on the side make it easier to grab on. Set up was a snap and real easy(instructions/connections).
If there is anything negative to say, its going to be the Viewing Angle. But then again, some tvs are made for sitting in front of and not to the side. If you have a large group of people over to watch a game or something, it might not be ideal for those sitting off to the side.
Time will tell if it was all worth it. So far so good! -

Pros: Beautiful HD images, Magic Focus Convergence, Tons of Settings, Sleek Cabinet Included
Cons: If your sitting to close at a slight angle minor yellow glare present on white backgrounds.
Summary: This TV has been great and is a joy to watch. The HDTV channels are crystal clear and wonderful!! I find myself watching educational shows on PBS just to view somthing in HD because I can't believe the quality of the picture. I really have to reach to come up with any negatives. About all I can mention would be the slight yellow glare if your at an angle and too close. But hey, move back a bit and look straight on and it goes away. The black side panels for non HD stations keep re-setting to gray. And I can't seem to program label the inputs. but this could be just operator error. In any event, these issues are minor. The TV is a great buy at $1399 (Thanks Circuit City). In the store it was lined up with all the Sony, RCA, Samsung, Toshiba, ETC. This Hitachi had the best picture of all of them. I am very happy and satisfied. Hitachi hit a home run here! Thanks.

Pros: Picture quality, sound quality, overall look, HDMI input, plenty of component and composite inputs, 2 antenna inputs. HD Ready!!!
Cons: Absolutely NONE!!
Summary: I bought this TV a few years ago and haven't had a single complaint. It's never given me any problems, and I love watching it.

Pros: It offers everything plus more with the picture quality and sound quality
Cons: none very satisfied
Summary: We shopped everywhere and looked at all the HDTV's we even talked to all of our friends and everyone refered us back to Hitachi. We were told they hardly ever see one come back for any problems. We were also told that they have the most realistic picture of all the HDTV's offered on todays market. We couldn't be happier. The picture and sound are excellent the sound is so good we haven't been using our surround with this tv. We highly recommend this tv!!!!
