I bought this tv on sale at Conn's for $1699.99 ($2199.99 is reg. price). After making room for it, I began hooking it up to my system. I have standard cable right now, so I don't have a cable box yet. I ran the coax cable straight from the wall into the cable input on the tv. To my suprise, I now get the major networks in hd.NBC,CBS,ABC, and a few others come in 720p or 1080i with crisp, clear digital sound. I ran the fiber optic cable from the back of the tv to my surround receiver for the audio.I also play lots of video games and can't believe how good everything looks. Most Xbox games are available with HDTV 480p or better, and the tv makes the most of this. It was very easy to set up the tv without even having to use the manual. If you do have to use it, the manual is very easy to understand. The remote is simple, yet offers all the main features you'll need to access. All in all, I don't think you could find a better deal than this tv for the money. The 65" screen has an antireflective cover to minimize glare and widen the viewing angle as well. If your in the market for a great HDTV, for a great price... check this one out. Hitachi also makes a 51" and a 57" model that offer the same features. The built-in hdtv tuner allows for free hdtv reception with an antenna, or the way I did it, if you have standard cable.
