Pros: This is by far the best 1080p on the market. Smart design, love the front patch panel easy to access. The menus are easy to use and the sound has a built-in surround. Picture is bright and the clean.
Cons: The factory red is not perfect, but very minor and you can fix it with the picture menu
Summary: I had this HP Md5880n (58 in/1080p) TV for 2 months and highly recommend it. Don’t get the 720p the picture is so much better with the 1080p processor. I am getting a second one for the bedroom. The furniture that comes with the TV hides all the cables and makes very clean especially with the black color design. I had an issue with it which was my mistake and called HP customer service and within 1 minute, I was talking to qualified rep and got it fixed within 10 minutes. I am impressed. The customer service is as good as Apple, which I can’t say as much for the Sony.
Guys HP has made an excellent product here and it is worth checking it out.
