"Great value, images POP"
Pros: Images are great, picture is bright, sound better than expected
Cons: Not a true 1080p scan, only 720p or 1080i
Summary: Nothing is really a 10, but this is close. Did the research on LCoS and compared JVC with Sony. It's all about the picture and the images were equal. But the Sony is $300 more for 6-inch smaller screen. Didn't intend to go rear-projection, but for far less money than a plasma or LCD got a wonderful HDTV. Really shines with a 1080i DVD player. Recommend this technology to anyone. See it for yourself, will satisfy all but the most critical eye.

You listed a con as being "Not a true 1080p scan, only 720p or 1080i". It is in fact at 1080p, it also does support 1080i. If you only send it a 1080i signal, such as the DVD player you used, how do you expect it to be true 1080p? The only true 1080p for players are the HD DVD, or Blue-Ray.
As far as HDTV, you need a high quality signal. But rest assured, if you supply a 1080p signal, it will broadcast it as 1080p.
Just wanted to clarify in case someone that isn't sure reads this review and passes on this TV because they see you saying its not 1080p. It is!!!! Hooray.
