"Purest color & lowest power consumption of any 65" TV"5.0 starson by Bob Cederdahl
Pros: Many more colors than any TV I've ever seen. Lowest power consumption of any TV its size. HD photos are best I've ever seen. Plenty of HDMI inputs (4)
Cons: Initial price was high. Initial colors were a bit too saturated & somewhat unatural. Mits had a s/w update that corrected the problem. No older-type multi-pin monitor input such as from an older laptop.
Summary: I have 5 TV's or monitors from 30" to 70" - several flat screens. Given the same programming & source, this TV delivers many more colors than any I've ever seen. The color gamut must be at least twice that of any other TV. Blacks have what appears to be infinite depth & shades. Measured power consumption when on (w/o audio & natural color mode) in my home is 89 watts average over a 2-week period. HD photos are almost 3D. When full 1920 x 1080 photos are operated from a flash memory directly inputted to the TV, it is slow to read from one to another (I don't know if it is due to the speed of the flash drive or not). Remote is easy to operate but input changes are a bit slow. I'm expected to view 3D it the next week or two and will update this review. Just think, no heavy glass lenses or focus issues as LASERS focus directly on the screen. I believe LASERS will be the wave of the future as they are in cameras (NIkon) and may appear in phones shortly.
