"This will be the DLP to own"
Pros: Misubishi's commitment to quality, consistently best picture (after tweaking)
Cons: The current models severely push green
Summary: I personally can't wait for this TV to be available. I work for the world's number one electronics retailer, and let me tell you, in the real world (as opposed to the nearly perfect demos manufacturers supply to reviewers), the Mitsubishis are the best-performing DLPs.
Still, as C-Net has already pointed out, the Mitsubishi DLPs tend to push green and require professional calibration to look their best. But once the TV is calibrated, Mitsu's sets outperform every other DLP on our sales floor. I'll be one of the first in line for this set!

If you don't own it, if you haven't seen it, why are you giving it a rating? Maybe you've read reviews elsewhere but you've given it a specific rating without actually reviewing it. That's poor style. Anyways I just saw a floor model yesterday (08-19-2005) and it looked beautiful. I'm a little under-informed but I think it may have been professionally calibrated 'cause when I stared at the picture from about 10 inches away - it was very nice! The card reader is cool. I can connect my computer & surf - very cool. Nice remote. Anyways, if you're gonna rate something you should have a decent basis (up-close personal experience) for doing so.
