"Mitsubishi 1080P; watching TV will never be the same; not sure if thats good or bad yet."
Pros: HD Channels are great
Cons: Wathing TV has become more complicated bu this may be partially to our cable provider.
Summary: We have owned this set for 2+ weeks; When we got the HD cable connection the TV remote was useless & we now use the remote for the cable box. THe 15 HD channels we get are great quality; the ananlog channels are poor quality; and the digital are not bad. AFter a while you get use to teh 2 second delay in changing channels but it is hard to get use to the delay and scramble in when changing from a high def channel to an analog or vise versa. I would sum up my thoughts so far to say I like the tv & I am not sorry I bought it. I paid too much at $3,200; but that included set up which I was greatful for. I think my wife dislikes the laborsome chore of flipping through channels. Even though we get lots of channels, I find we only watch a few because it takes so long to page through everything and the flipping from one type of channel to another (digital to HD ect) is very distracting. I think I will get to like the TV more the longer we have it and liek I said some of the problems can be attribtued to my cable box and not the set itself. I am not a gadget person & if you are not you might not be ready for HD TV until mroe channels are available.
