"Returned it after one week"
Pros: Nice PC input through HDMI, NetCommand, good HD picture
Cons: Really bad picture for non HD, bad video noise, especially with DVDs, rainbow effect, ridiculously big and ugly remote.
Summary: I had mine for a week and I really wanted to like it, given I paid over $3000 for it($3050 from Abt Electronics).
Maybe I'm too sensitive to this, but I found the rainbow effect to be very bad when watching DVDs. It made my eyes water. I also had to turn the bright and contrast way down to get rid of noise in the picture (staticy looking areas in backgrounds). I also had a problem with mine in that it would just refuse to display a picture sometimes. I would have to restart it and change connectors just to get a picture.
I was able to exchange mine at Abt for a Sony 50" KDS-R50XBR1 for about $200 more. That TV blows this one out of the water. Seriously, don't buy a 1080p DLP until you've seen the Sony. The Mitsubishi also felt much cheaper than the Sony. It seems they save high quality materials for their "diamond" series only. Not to mention the huge ugly arse remote!
I didn't want to be so down on this TV, but I was not happy with it at all. I would also highly recommend Abt Electronics who gave me a great deal on both TVs and exchanged this one with no extra delivery charge.
