"Took some time to get right, but picture is great!"
Pros: Great HD picture, good functionality of remote, and excellent looking even when turned off. Mitsubishi staff is very proactive to resolve issues.
Cons: Had to have serviced three times due to alignment issue. Remote is rather bulky and could be better configured to integrate other components.
Summary: I am still shocked at how lifelike the picture is with this set. The color accuracy, once setup properly, is phenomenal. HD programming is superb, but the analog channels are somewhat lacking. HBO and other nonHD digital signals are decent. Anamorphic DVDs are awesome due to the expanded viewing area and conversion which removes the black bars. I have had the set serviced three times due to tilt issue with screen. The first guy came out twice before sending the set in to go in through the rear of the set to make adjustments. The set is perfect now after a few headaches initially. If you experience similar tilt issues, contact your local mitsubishi repair center. Some people reccomend manually manipulating the set, but this is not a true solution. The good news is that this issue is totally fixable.
