Pros Very accurate colors. Large Screen. Bright Screen. Great price. Great picture adjustability in Advanced mode.
Cons Black levels a little light, but not as bad as reviewed. Remote Sucks. Overscan cannot be adjusted.
Summary I tell you what, My first HDTV was a 720P first generation DLP from Samsung, since then I have owned more different types of TV's than I care to mention. DLP, LCD, Plasma. For the longest I thought my Plasma was the best TV. I do admit tthe picture seems a little bit deeper on a plasma. But, the money you have to shell out for a good one is still outrageous until of late. Got a LCD in the bedroom and I feel the same way. To make a long story short, I wanted to save some money and still get a TV that had a large screen. So, I sold my 58" Samsungand purchased this set. Did some research and there were no reviews, but I owned a Mitsu DLP before and thought the picture on it was very good. So, I went for it. All I can say is wow! This TV has a great picture. Once adjusted right, it pretty much looked as good as my Plasma. Yes I know Flat Panels look sexier, but picture wise, it's not too far off. I read the expert review on this Tv and actually they reviewed the 65" model. Black levels are supposed to be way worse than the flat panels. I beg to differ. Maybe on the larger models, but this 60" has very good black's in my opinion. I have used a Calibration Blue Ray from DVe to Adjust the picture and then used the settings listedon this sight. Both came close to each. To make a long story short. I got this TV for $1099.00 and the picture is nice. Yes there are a few flaws that the flat screens don't have, but I saved $1000.00 and can't really tell the difference in picture quality. My oldest daughter is very picky about the picture on all the TV's I have had and she even told me "Dad, this TV has a nice picture". If you don't have to hang it on the wall, and don't want to break the bank, this TV is for you!Update, look at the prices and reviews of the TV's they compared this TV too. The cheapest is a Panny Plasma, but it's rating is no better and the colors suck. Also, other than the Pioneer, they are all 50 or 52 inches. Pioneer $3500.00 too. You decide????

"Fantastic tv"on by jimbob212005
Pros Picture clarity, color accuracy, screen size for price, gaming performance
Cons as editor said the black levels could be a little better and the remote is not the best
Summary I owned this tv for about 5 1/2 months and loved it so much i sold it to upgrade to the wd-82738. The color reproduction on these tvs is fantastic. Also i know a lot of people have criticized Mitsubishi for using a traditional bulb rather than an LED, but consider this... the replacements are only $99, the light levels get so bright that a bright light on the tv is perfectly capable of burning your eyes out if it wants to, and its still an energy star television... not bad if you ask me. I personally bought this television for HD gaming and was immediately impressed with how smooth and fast the screen responded, unlike similarly sized LCD's that typically have a "lag" look to them when objects move across the screen. The antiglare was very good as well... even direct sunlight isnt a problem. So if you want a big, beautiful television with exceptional color reproduction and amazing clarity and dont want to spend your retirement funds doing so... I would recommend giving the Mitsubishi WD-60737 a try.
Pros picture size cost color!
Cons had two months and tv guy had to come out
Summary have faded line on right corner,tv guy puts a lamp in 99.00..power up still therei wrote a review back in june about the light engine, it was the problem what they did was put the lamp to close to the light engine causing the engine to over heat and thats when you notice all the dark screen grain, theres realy nothing you can do but put a small fan behind it..the cost was 648.97..
so he said 9 out 10 it's the engine but mitstubishi wants a picture of it still under warranty but bet ya after my warranty expires so does the engine!!(SAD)

Updated on Nov 4, 2009had house hold come out,the engine was goin out! if you see dark shades on your wd-60737 set it's your engine not the bulb..i had a dark black type mark from the the top right and about a half foot wide going all the way to bottom, plus a round one on bottom left..they replaced the engine, cost $648.77 but i have extended warranty mits did'nt wanna do it at first untill i mentioned COURT, so if you have any screen grain mostly at night or dark movies get it fixed...

Cons USB'S,S-VIDEO,OPTICAL,PROTECTIVE SCREEN EXC..

BUT SO FAR HAPPY WITH IT'S SISTER..
Pros Great price for a 60" TV..lightweight...good if it works and you dont have to call customer service
Cons Bulb goes out fast..Updates constantly...customer service SUCKS
Summary Had the Tv 2yrs 1mo...already updated and replaced bulb according to Mitsubishi Service...was turning off and going black around christmas. They refused to pay for bulb because warranty was up, and when I asked why the bulb went out after 2 years (when the bulb is supposedly supposed to last 11 yrs if the tv runs constant) they said 2 years was a good life expectancy..and cost me $100. After their suggestions, Tv seemed to work fine till today. Now it shuts off at random and Constantly blinks red when it does. Now Mitsubishi says I need to update again! This is rediculous! Crappy customer service that doesnt care, and apparantly dont make tvs to last! My mother still has a bigscreen tv thats over 10yrs old, and it has never had to have any kind of service or bulb replacement! After the performace of this tv and the crappy customer service with this tv, I will NEVER purchase another Mitsubishi product again. They don't seem to care, and just give you the runaround again and again. A tv should last more than 2 yrs, and also, If I need to constantly update the tv so it works, that just shows that Mitsubishi knowingly has a defective television and is trying to fix, but at the same time customer service is very unhelpful so they obviously dont care that much, sounds like they just want me to buy a new $2000 tv from them every 2 yrs...NOT gonna happen..Mitsubishi, you can FORGET MY buisness!
