"Excellent after learning to program and calibrate Mits 65833"
Pros: Multiple video screen choices for watching sports, Satillite, and DVD movies. This Mitsi enables the user to adjust fine tuning for color, contrast, and brightnes for each source .
Cons: Out of the box, the factory settings are too brilliant. The user needs to callibrate brightness, contrast, and color... and recallibrate after making changes to lock in the excellent picture available
Summary: For Large Screens... it's hard to beat the picture quality offered by the better DLP units.
When you add "price", considering the screen size, DLP's stand alone in value.
Mitsibushi has been a leader in large screen television going back to their 40 inch CRT's, and their experience keeps them at the front.
IMHO... C-net may have received a "Lemon" when they tested Mitsi's 65833. C-net's results don't agree with mine, or with the majority of comments by Videophiles who have posted on other forums comparing both the Sony and Mitsubishi top of the line rear projection televisions.
