"One GREAT TV!!!"
Pros: Too many to say
Cons: no optical out/in, Price for stand.
Summary: I just upgraded from my 62" RCA HDTV to this. My RCA was a very good TV ($1500.00 more than the Wd-73883 too) but 5 years old and lots of hrs. on it. I did some research on this new TV, there's not much info, being it's so new, but everything I saw was good. So I bought one. I could not be happier, this TV is GREAT. I heard a few people complain about the fan noise, well I can tell you it is nonexistent in mine, in fact when I was hooking it up the fan made me jump a little, I was behind the TV making connections, and it blew on my arm making me jump, as I could not hear it running, (even behind the TV inches away) I was not expecting to have a little wind run across my arm. The connections are simple, I have a 3500 watt surround sound system that can get a bit confusing to hook up, but the multiple HDMI's and multiple RBG's made it quite easy. I do wish it had optics though. (I guess there getting old fashion now) I can't wait to try the 3D glasses hook up, "when they come out!!"
The NET command was a BIG surprise! I love it. One remote for almost everything and it can all be put in a cabinet with closed doors. One button ON/OFF for everything, change from SAT to OFF AIR or DVD ETC. it changes the receiver "automatically" to the receiver Chanel you selected for that device(GREAT FEATURE) I've heard the internal speakers suck and they probably do, I don't think anyone with a 73" HDTV will be using them anyway. (never saw a set with good speakers)

I did find the 120 refresh rate a little much when I turned it on, but I'm only 13' away from the screen, and it was not a fast action show.
Overall, "I could not be happier", I only had two other choices in mind, and they were, a 70+" flat panel, or a HD projector both were over $11,000. and that was out!
I do not think you can get a better TV than the WD-73833 for the money, PERIOD!
I don't know if I can say this but I bought the TV from LCD.com. (AND I got the 5 year warranty, 6 years total) my RCA had a problem 1 month out of warranty, and RCA would not help me. LCD.com did exactly what they said, TV was on time, warranty came fedex, BUT they do not return phone calls with info I requested (a few time too) So once you buy it, your on your own with them.
