"Nice picture." on by tho_x_tran
Pros: Beautiful picture, inexpensive
Cons: Dont know yet
Summary: I bought this about 2 months for $1400 brand new plus 3 years extended warranty as I am concerned about the bulb like some have mentioned, but so far so good. Even with Analog channel, it looks nice. Watching DVD is great. I need this type of TV because I watch HDTV via my computer which has a ATI HDTV Wonder OTA receiver. Hooking a PC to a Plasma will destroy it, but not this TV. Even though the DTV singal is only of 80% strength, the picture is awsome. I am not aware of any fan noise as some have mentioned.

"My First WideScreen TV" on by LaZeR30
Pros: Sometimes the picture is amazing, 43" - bang for buck, brand name, great sound, very light
Cons: Rear projection - nothing beats LCD, close up viewing is not great
Summary: This is my first wide screen/LCD TV and really like it so I'm giving it an excellent rating. Sometimes I wonder however if pure flat LCD is better than rear projection LCD which this one is - but rear projection LCD less expensive. I also wonder if Hitachi or SoNy might be better. All in all however this is a great TV. I bought it in March and the bulbs seem to still be ok...

Pros: good picture when tv worked
Cons: panasonic consumer affairs not helpful at all
Summary: HHGREGG COMPANY HAS PROVIDED OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND CONTINUE TO MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM WITH THE PRODUCT. THE PRODUCT IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY,HOPEFULLY PANASONIC WILL HONOR THEIR COMMITMENT AND CORRECT THIS SITUATION. IF IT WERE NOT FOR HHGREGG WITH THEIR COMMITMENT TO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION I REALLY DO NOT KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO, MORE COMPANIES SHOULD OPERATE LIKE HHGREGG.

"Great with right program signals" on
Pros: Excellent blacks and color. Stereo sound frequently makes us think something is on our patio or cat in into something in the room behind us. All in all, we like it much better than our old 29" tube. We've had the new one for a month.
Cons: Not for close up viewing because today's programs vary widely in video quality. We don't have HD cable, but with digital some programs are great. Many are poor and progressive scan helps only to a point. Most programs, even the widescreen ones, don't matc
