"A big, crisp, and vivid experience."
Pros: Highest quality HD image on a huge screen. It literally puts you in the movie and at the ballpark. Since it is not a phosphor-based set, there is no risk of image burn-in (unlike CRT, Plasma, and most other sets). Analog is upconverted and is surprisin

"Philips understands HDTV and Surround Sound"
Pros: We really like the feature rich Philips Projections HDTV. The built-in speakers output clear sound with great tones and the on screen menus has a built-in user set-up guide that's comparable to my old standalone HD set-up DVD.
Cons: My family received a free base unit made for the set that elevated it from the floor to a perfect viewing height; however the base was simply elevation and offered very little in terms of storage and no built-in outlet.
