Summary: After comparing not only to other DLPs but to Plasma and LCD, this set has BY FAR the best picture of any set out there. My friend who just bought a 50" Plasma for $5800 took his back after seeing the picture on this baby and bought the same unit. Great black level, colors pop and DVD's look 3D. You forget your watching at home, you easily get immersed in the picture. No noise, no rainbow, no distracting artifacts......this set ROCKS!!

We've had our Samsung HDTV DLP 50 inch TV for 3 mos. now, and have had no problems with it at all. The picture absolutely cannot be beat. And, caution, what you see in the store doesn't do it justice. It's so much better! We needed the hdtv box (ours is thru Comcast) of course, to see the hdtv channels in their vibrant color and sharpness. Everyone who visits us says this TV picture quality is better than the movie screen. It's as if the actors/actresses are right in your family room! And if you like sports, forget buying tickets to a live event again -- you won't need to! This is one of the best investments we've made, and so much better than plasma, other HDTV wide-screens, etc etc. You won't be disappointed.
