"My first "non-tube" television and I love it!"
Pros: HD picture is amazingly clear. Window glare is no problem. You never have to worry about screen burn. Sound is above average. Hooking up stuff to it is easy (there are lots of connection ports). And the tv is really lightweight; very easy to move.
Cons: Picture quality of non-HD tv is not great, but it's great on other brand big screens (dlp, lcd or plasma). The only problem I've had is bulb burn out. But, it was covered under warranty. Get the extended warranty because DLP parts can be expensive.

"Great TV buy the warranty 'cos of moving parts"
Pros: Great picture quality. Great sound. Also, it has 2 co-axial inputs so you can combine basic cable and over-the-air channels with no fuss.
Cons: The color wheel in mine went bad less than 3 years after I bought it. In fact, the color wheel went bad before the lamp did! So if you buy, buy the warranty for 3 years. I bought a 2-year warranty. What a waste of money!
