"Reliability - be wary"
Pros: nice technology for nice size and weight
Cons: reliability, lack of user friendliness
Summary: Prior model comment - yes. At 1 1/2 years, serviced twice to tune of $800. I have no faith in authorized servicer or Sammy. Did I have to volunteer to be technological and reliability guinea pig? Explore all info about relibility when considering newer tech TVs. Pleasing experience or miseries? I sure wasn't offered any extended warranty. Manufacturer extended needed for me to half way trust Sammy again.

I purchased the unit last year. The HDMI quit working. Waited two months for a samsung part. Parts was replaced last Friday and not the picture is terriable when using the HDMI or component inputs. The progressive scan will not work with this unit anymore.
