"QUALITY SET ---- WOW"
Pros: GREAT PICTURE --- LIGHT WEIGHT---- COMPACT
Cons: SOME RAINBOW EFFECT EVIDENT
Summary: I did a ton of research before purchasing this set. I went back and forth between plasma and dlp sets. I made the right choice. Why spend 3,800 or more on a 50' plasma tv that will eventually go on you? This set will last you a lifetime. When HD picture is seen side by side with top plasma, you will not see a differance. This set is very sharp looking with the new floating screen design, light weight, can fit in tight spaces "only 14 ' deep"and has such a great picture in terms of clarity and color. It's worth every penny. I paid 2,150(includes tax and shipping from pc richard). Make sure you haggle with with them in the store. My only complaint is the rainbow effect I mentioned earlier. It only happens once in a while and when it does it only lasts a fraction of a second. Look no further. Best TV (Plasma or Rear Projection) out there at this time. ENJOY!!!
P.S. I sit about 8 1/2 feet from TV with no picture distortion what so ever.
