Samsung HL-T5075S

Summary: I researched a ton before I bought this TV. I finally concluded by reading other reviews that if you don't have the limit of wanting to mount an LCD or Plasma, DLP was a more economical option. I got mine at Circuit City as an open box for $899 and will do a 2 yr ext warr (renewable) since its new technology. I'm going w/o digital cable so I only have my locals in HD. The standard def is a little grainy but that is usually not the TV as much as the poor signal the TV is getting - then blowing it up to 720p. Some SD channels look better than others but they are OK. The channels in HD are awesome. I also have an older XBOX. With component video cables, I don't need an xbox360 soon, the games are awesome. Although its probably not as big an issue now, since I do a lot of gaming, I was worried about burn in on plasmas. That is not an issue on DLP. I've seen some negatives on the volume of this TV. Its not bad at all for a smaller space. I would also suggest getting the extended warranty. I am.
