"great TV, even better when you get the new ballast"
Pros: Great picture, plenty of inputs, menus are easy to use.
Cons: The ballast shipped with these TV's are bad. However, the replacement works great and comes with a 120W lamp (origonal has 100W lamp). This does seem to brighten the picture even more.

Pros: Great HDTV picture...when it works, regular TV mode worse than normal analog units. Terrible value for a unit that sells for $3500!!!
Cons: Unit is being repaired twice in 10 weeks, with 3 weeks of that time waiting for service from Samsung!

Pros: Nice HDTV when it worked, analog mediocre even when compared to my 15 yr old Mitsubishi 35 inch.
Cons: Had continuous problems since I have had it(only 2months!). Numerous calls to the sales department and service technician admitted that "there were a bad run of bulbs that went out" at $200/bulb that is ridiculous. The long term operating costs will kill

Pros: Love the HD picture quality.
Cons: If your area is prone to power outages you must use a UPS. Otherwise your bulb will burn out very quickly. A cheap $75 UPS is better than multiple $150 bulbs.
