Pros: Crisp, Clean Picture; A very light TV; Decent Audio for a TV

Cons: Some Cooling Fan Noise and Concerns Over Bulb Life

Summary: I must say we have bought Sony TV's in the recent years but I was close to getting another brand of LCD flat screen 32" size (LG) when we saw this one for the same price at 37" so we once again stuck w/ a Sony brand. This is our first HDTV and replaces my broken tube JVC.

No issues at all w/ picture from an HD signal but there some intermittent "screen door effect" (a trait known to most RPTV's not just Sony) is noticed when watching some channels from our DirecTV satellite but it still remains crisp, clear, and accurate colors, etc...A little concerned over bulb life (8000 hours Sony claims) and was also surprised about hearing some cooling fan noise but volume has to be low and room dead quiet to really hear it.

I guess in the end I put a lot of faith that overall Sony (known for TV's historically) can still put together a quality product.

    Thx, Steve from Virginia
