Pros: Nothing good about this TV
Cons: We bought this TV in Dec. 2004, not even 4 1/2 years later the optical block has gone out on the TV and Sony is not backing up their product. They want to offer us a new TV at a discounted price. Why would I invest my hard earned money into Sony?
Summary: Sony was aware of this manufacturing defect, but did not notify their consumer's of this defect via mail. They offered to repair the TV, but the offer expired four months ago. The notice was only posted on their website, well if the problem occured back in November 2008, I would have looked at their webiste and saw the notice. We do have an extended warranty, but the warranty company says it costs more to repair the TV, then what the TV is worth.
