    Pros: Great Blacks for LCD

Cons: No PIP and Red Shift is too strong!

Summary: I bought this set for $1297 to replace a Sony KDF-42e655 LCD set that I sold to a friend. Now, this is just a newer version of the KDF-42E655 so I expected noticeable improvements. Boy was I wrong. Sure, the picture was better (especially the blacks)but I was very dissapointed to discover that it does not have PIP. Also, the remote is bulky and the red shift has to be corrected right out of the box. After much research I am returning the set tomorrow and going to Costco to buy the VIZIO GV42LHDTV (a flat panel LCD for only $200 more).

I dare you to find a picture near this one in this price range or maybe I just got lucky and got the best tv sony has ever built. No wait a minute, sony has been building quality televisions for 40 years.
