"Amazing TV for the price; should be illegal"
Pros: picture, sound, build, features
Cons: slow to switch HDMI inputs maybe?, needs one more HDMI input
Summary: I bought this TV after doing a lot of research and then checking it out side-by-side in stores. By my eye, the picture quality was pretty much the same as Samsung's 50" DLP and even Sony's more expensive KDS-A3000 line. The black levels and colors are very solid, the sound quality is great for such a narrow speaker array, and the build is excellent. The onscreen display is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Upconverted DVDs look amazing and XBox360 games blow me away. The only thing I could ask for is one more HDMI port in place of one of the component inputs. And the switching between HDMI inputs is a little slow (3-4 seconds), but I have no experience with this switching, so this could be normal. Other than that, I'm extremely happy with my purchase, and happy I wasn't put too much into debt to have it.
