"Loved this TV but now have Red Blotches on the screen" on March 8, 2011 by docpsb

Pros: Great picture quality

Cons: 1 hdmi outlet

Summary: TV worked well for years however now on the screen there appears red blotches when TV picture is white or a light color. Has anyone else experienced this. I'm thinking its possibly dust or lint on the bulb? A friend of mine with another model Sony LCD Rear projection TV model has also experienced the same thing after years of use.
Any suggestions? Thanks!!
