Pros: Picture is outstanding first 2 yrs. Then the optic blocker goes wacky and have blue blops on dark screen and yellowish stains where white is.

Cons: Almost appears Sony knew exactly how long to make warrenty, cause right after warrenty period optic blocker went bad.

Summary: Contacted Sony tech service twice, having electronic back ground was sure it was the optic blocker. Sony tech service told me both time no way. I had to pay for a field tech to come and check it out. Tech walked in and right away said the problem is the optical blocker. Will cost 800.00 for the part and paaid 75.00 for the field tech to tell me it was the optical blocker. So now have a big paper weight. I never plan to buy a sony again, basically cause of how treated. There is to many other manufactors with as good and cheaper set, that would do customers right when having problem.
