"Best TV I've ever seen. Well worth the extra money."

by gnmwilliams on August 7, 2006

Pros: Awsome color quality, contrast, and brightness. Very good viewing angle and distance. Awsome black reproduction and response.

Cons: Red's are a little "hot" but can easily be fixed in the menu. Maybe too few HD inputs for some people. Menus are a little difficult to navigate.

Summary: I shopped around for months looking at every sort of TV I could find. The Sony SXRD's are the best that I've seen and are the brightest and clearest in the field. I have a small living room and I needed a TV that I could see even if I had to sit close to it. The Sony SXRD's were bright and clear even from within 6 feet. I wanted a TV that would last me a while so I feel that the Sony is well worth the extra money, which isn't that much more with the release of their new line.
