"Great so far"
Pros: terrific picture
Cons: none right now
Summary: Got this by accident - kind of.
Went to buy a KDS-55A2000 on a model closeout deal for $1999. When the store delivered set a week later (soonest I could take it), they must have run out of the 2000 because the delivered the 2020 instead - I didn't ask any questions.
Being a software engineer, I immediately ignored the manual and just tried to set it up. Wound up calling Sony to in order to get a picture displayed. People were very nice and helpful (more that I would have been with customer who should have read manual before calling).
The sound is much better than I expected from a TV. May only use the A?V receiver/amp for movies.
The picture is terrific. Turned the lamp down and everything is still as bright as you'd ever want.
I did NOT know about the ventilation requirements for DLP sets before I bought this. I should have done my homework. I was able to get furniture store to cancel my first order for a new wall unit so I could get one that would provide the ventilation that one of these needs. Make certain you can accommodate the ventilation requirements before you buy any DLP/Plasma/LCD.

Just for clarification, this TV is LCoS derived, not DLP. Sony doesn't make a DLP TV.

For those of us who don't know the ventilation requirements of rear-projection TV's, would you please share them with us. And congratulations on getting the new model for the price of the old model!
