"Awesome TV!" on by dmw5
Pros: Outstanding picture, quiet operation
Cons: No pip, but who cares?
Summary: This was the fourth TV that i purchased before finally being satisfied with the performance. I orginally purchase a 50 inch mitsubishi and it had an unacceptably loud fan and color wheel noise and apparently this is a problem with mits. I exchanged that tv for a samsung s5088w and it had a horrible pin cushioning problem which i thought was just that particular set but after exchanging that set for another i was horrified to see the same problem. I should have listened to the sales guy since he reccommended the sony from the beginning. If you are in the market buy a Sony.

"Great combination of picture, size, and features!" on by melhsap
Pros: picture quality, available inputs, ease of use, sound
Cons: some screen glare
Summary: I've had my 60" A2020 for a couple of weeks now. The picture is awesome in HD and well above average in SD. I paired mine with satellite HD and hooked it up through one of the two HDMI inputs and a Toshiba 1080p up-converting DVD through the other HDMI input. The sound is above average from the TV itself but I choose to run it all through the digital optical feeds on my Onkyo home theater system to heighten the overall effect. The onscreen interfaces are fairly simple to use and have lots of options to really tweak things until your heart's content. Front COMPONENT (not composite) inputs are a pleasant surprise. I wish it didn't pick up lighting glares as much as it does but it is not as bas as some I have seen. All in all, it's a real dream machine in my opinion. What sold me was the fact that there are very few moving parts and that the lamp is consumer replaceable and goes all at once without end of life fadeout. Plasma longevity and screen burn in issues worried me as did the infamous DLP rainbow effect. This rear-projection technology is more reliable based on my research. As a side note, it takes up relatively little space for such a big picture (56 inches wide and 21 inches deep). Do yourself a favor and check one out at a reputable electronics dealer. Fool around with the settings and put it through its paces. If you don't buy it, I guarantee you that it will at least be one of the finalists on your list.

"Great Picture while it lasted" on by hawkinscw
Pros: Good picture on regular tv and great picture on HD signal
Cons: Sony repair service and cutomer service turn around time.
Summary: I bought the TV from Best Buy on Christmas of 2006 and by February of 2007 the TV was in the repair shop. Sony had the repair shop replace every part in the TV before they would deadline the TV. Sony only shipped them one part at a time and it usually took a week for each part to arrive at the repair shop. Once the TV was deadline by Sony it took another two weeks for the new TV to arrive at my home and they sent me a smaller model. I had to reject the delivery and call Sony to have them resend me the correct TV. Sony would not compensate this horrible experience with any upgrades or discounts but provided me with a comment of "Sorry". As of April of 2007 I still haven’t gotten a working TV and was told it might be here around the end of the month. The majority of my electronics are Sony made and after going through this experience of sub par customer service, I will think twice next time before buying another Sony product.

"Stunning picture couldn't be pleased more" on by Paulthepilot
Pros: Settings galore, Looks great no "Dumbo" ears speakers, black front and Magnificent picture
Cons: Computer screen size doesn't fill TV
Summary: This TV has the most incredible picture I have seen, after spending one year looking I finally bought the Sony KDS 60A2020. The 60" is what you want trust me even over my old 55" it is huge. The color ,clarity and adjustments on the Sony are worth the extra bucks. XBR for less!
