"Incredible TV and maybe even worth a 10."
Pros: Fabulous picture even using over the air Zenith HDTV antenna. People do not look deformed as they do on many other HDTV sets when picture is set to zoom. Autosetup is slow, but excellent.
Cons: Documentation could have been better. Auto setup feature can take almost 1 hour so be patient.
Summary: My old Sony 53" XBR was dying and I've been waiting for this one after reading the Qualia reviews. Finally saw it at 3 local stores in South Florida and decided that the wait was well worth it. I saw this TV side by side with various DLP sets and the ONLY reason I could see buying the DLP would be if money was an issue. This XBR is not cheap, but the picture quality is amazing. I also bought an inexpensive Zenith over the air HDTV antenna that at first seemed very flimsy but it was everything reviews said it was. A hint - after plugging in the antenna, switch over the input using the "ant" button on the remote and then go thru the autosetup again but this time with the antenna rather than cable or satellite selected. You'll also have to play around with the orientation of the antenna to get the best picture without breakup.
The autosetup feature with cable input found stations that I thought were only available to me with digital cable (we still have analog but will get satellite soon)such as a 3 Hi Def stations and many of the digital music channels.

Sounds like you need more than a TV upgrade!! You have yet to unleash the power of your investment without a digital TV source!!!
