"The greatest picture on the market"
Pros: 3 hdmi, 1920x1080 full sxrd color system with drc v2.5 180W bulb
Cons: you can even take off the side speakers if u dont want them! =)
Summary: Better picture and color than Sony's special line of Qualia Tvs and light years ahead of pioneer elite and sharp aquos. Beats any TV out there with stunning sxrd v2.5 with 180w bulb (they even give you an extra bulb when you buy it!) true 1920x1080 with an unseen 2.5ms response time, no more smearing. LCD has made its mark with this television. It is the ultimate rear projection and picture period. It blows away the brightness levels of any plasma out there and the color range is beyond any domestic consumer television has to offer. I was more than lucky to have seen it personally and I believe its quite possibly one of the best high definition pictures ever made for consumers.

Because simply using LEDs does not an LED TV make, the UK?s Advertising Standards Authority recently ruled that Samsung must correct their ads.
The advertising campaign in question featured wording such as ?Samsung LED TV. The next generation of television has arrived.?
The ASA offered some explanation on their position. ?We considered that the ad implied the TV displays were comprised totally of LEDs similar to some outdoor displays when that was not the case,? reads the ruling which goes on to state ?the ads were ambiguous and did not make clear how the TVs utilised the LED technology, the ads were likely to mislead.?
Samsung argued that LED TV is a commonly used term to refer to LED backlit LCD displays. The ASA took note of this but stated that ?the phrase ?LED TV? was not adopted consistently throughout the industry.? -
It is SXRD, Sony's version of LCoS. Completely different.
