    "Flicker Problem Fixed & Came back 2 years later"

    Pros: Great picture when it works

    Cons: Sony helpful 1st time - 2nd time not so helpful

    Summary: Bought this television in August, 2002. It completely stopped working in March 2005. All three guns repaired and everything was great until this past weekend. Thats when everything on screen had a red hue shadow, and it has resumed the automatic turning off. I called sony about this faulty television problem, and they said it would be covered if the diagnosis was indeed related to the flicker issue. Unfortunately, I have to pay the trip charge from the technician to dianose & confirm the problem. This television cost $2,300 when purchased, and it is Sony's responsiblity not to provide there customers with known faulty models.
