"This is the game my PSP has been waiting for"
Pros: Fantastic graphics and sound, excellent gameplay
Cons: None significant
Summary: I've heard lots of great things about the God of War series, but I have never played any of the prior games. I use my PSP mostly for movies, and have bought and resold many previously highly rated games.
Since I am new to the series, the criticism of others that it brings nothing new to the series is not a factor. This is by far the best looking, most enjoyable game that I have played on this or any other platform. Simple button combos produce phenomenal results on the screen. I have multiple saves in different locations so that I can go back and replay my favorite parts.
The story does seem a little short, as I am almost done with my first run through already, but I'm looking forward to playing it again at the next level!
I was warned about the "extremely high" rating, but I feel it is deserved. This one is definitely not going back.
