"Eyeballs can kick your @$$"
Pros: Innovative gameplay and charming buttons
Cons: Gameplay can put some players to sleep,you can't pause the game
Summary: Patapon is a game that mix action,music,RPG and strategy elements.Is a game that's easy to love once you play it.The visuals are adorable and simple,but unique.The enviorements are full of color and have a visual flavor really similar to LocoRoco(but the developers are different).Music plays a big part of the game,is pretty funny to heard the patapons sing.But let's talk about the innovation here...the gameplay.
The gameplay of Patapon consists in playing drums to a rhythym in order to make the patapons move,attack,defend or retreat.This type of gameplay is something we don't experience everyday,but by the same time is good,at the same time is bad.The gameplay can be addictive,but can put some players to sleep because the gameplay is a little repetitive.Also,there's no pause button,so that means you can't take a break while playing.
Patapon migth look kiddy,but is a challenging adventure that gamers who like weirdness and frustration should check out.
