Pros The fact that it's active vs. passive -- meaning you are immediately linked to a community that is constantly feeding data on where speed traps are located. The iPhone app takes speed management strategies to the next level.
Cons I hate cords! I previously had a cordless Escort, which I was satisfied with. Now my wife has it, and while I love my iRadar, having to deal with powering both it and the iPhone on long trips is annoying and cumbersome.
Summary If you assume the cost of your iPhone is a sunk cost...spending $170 for one of the BEST radars in the market is a no brainer.
Pros Some of the user alerts are great. Easy to use and manage.
Cons Gets triggered almost 100% of the time with the Backup Cam/Radar on Audi's. That a big PITA!!!!
Some of the user alerts are posted by idiots!!!!
Summary This could actually he a serious weapon to protect your driving record. :) I've picked up Laser far enough away to avoid it.
