Summary Could not be happier with this product. It is exactly what I wanted for the kitchen. The sound is exceptional. Funny, I was warned by CNET about giving a 10 rating since "10's" are so rare. This is exactly what I wanted, I didn't need an alarm or a clock or stereo and if I had I would have bought something different. So I am sticking with my 10 rating.

Cons no tone control, boomy bass sound
Summary The sound from this radio fills a 15' by 30' busy dental office. Patients who own a Bose wave are very impressed by the sound from this tiny box. People who can't see where the sound is coming from can't belive the small size.
People complement the simple appearence. This is a very easy radio to use, Three controls - volume, band, and tune. Believe it or not, the 3" speaker gives me a bit too much bass, and there is no tone control.
This is not a stereo device, but when you have a little boom box in a large space, how much stereo separation do you get?
There is a port to hook up your mp3 or cd player. I can't wait to try that.
Bought it at Amazon. Got $30 off for signing up for their credit card, so this was $70 with free shipping. -

onPros Outstanding FM reception, very precise tuning, and exceptional mono sound quality. I recieved this radio as a gift, and can say that it is perfect for sports, talk, and music.
