"INCREDIBLY AVERAGE"
3.0 starson by akadashoePros: Has a remote control.
Able to switch between am/fm, cd, and t.v.
Nothing else much to rave about.Cons: SPENDY!!! Get comparable sound out of my clock radio.
Summary: For those of you with only a "digital optical audio output" (such as myself) on your t.v. let me save you some grief and bucks.
You need NOT go to your local electronics outfit to purchase some stupid converter box and cables. Simply plug a red and white audio cable into your audio output jacks on your cable box, and the other end with a 3.5 m.m. (the most common type)into the Bose.
Boom, done. Now you will have audio through your t.v. via your cable box.
The best thing about the Bose Wave 3 is the fact you can switch between playing c.d.'s, and listening to t.v. by using the remote. (IMHO)
The sound quality is nothing exceptional, and there is no means of tweeking bass/treble settings, as the unit has no subwoofer, only volume adjust.
If I had to do it all over again, I'd invest in some nice home theater system instead!

The Bose Radio could use alittle more base but I'm very hard of hearing and the way it is set is perfect for my ears. I hear the TV better than ever and enjoy my music to a very mellow sound system. It's brand new so I will report back on how long it last and if I'm completely satisfied.
