  • "Clocks always lose time"
    2.0 stars
    on by jamesharbinson

Pros: For the money, the audio can't be beat.

Cons: I've owned three clocks now and every one of them loses time. It might be as annoying as a few minutes a month, but this morning my bedroom clock lost 45 minutes and I was almost late for work.

Summary: One bad experience could be an anomaly, but I've now owned THREE of their clocks and experienced the loss of time on every single one of them. A great sounding clock radio that can't keep time is about as useful as a GPS that plays MP3's but has maps from the 1800s. I am officially done with Boston Acoustics. How incompetent is their engineering department anyway? I can buy a digital clock from The Dollar Store that works better.
