  • "Great simple clock radio. But display a bit bright."

Pros: Simple controls. Solid construction. Great snooze feature.

Cons: The display is too bright so I effectively always have a night light in my bedroom. Yes the brightness is adj'able and there's an autodimming feature. But it's not the numbers that are too bright it's the backlighting which is always bright.

Summary: My Bose Wave Radio was the best clock radio I've ever had. Yes, people disagree about Bose, but I think everybody could agree that as a clock radio, not a livingroom soundsystem, it rocks. But it is pricey. For $99, I could not find a better more intuitive clock radio.

For my Solo, I noticed the same problem
Brightness is very clear in the dark. I have another
thing that tires me is the background noise when all
is silent in the room, I hear a little noise
of transformer and it bothers me because the radio
is located on my bedside table, next to my
    pillow.

Have you noticed the same thing.

    Thank you.
