"Very Convenient, Sound is decent" on by cnet_mojo
Pros: easy to use, easy to install, haven't found anything else like it
Cons: sound could be better, can't easily navigate via remote
Summary: I haven't seen anything meant for the kitchen/ipod that is better. However I wish this had better sound, and would let me easily navigate from playlist to playlist without resorting to the actual buttons on the ipods.

"Major drawback" on by rightboy
Pros: Good looking machine
Cons: No ability to use playlists
Summary: What a disappointment. We purchased this machine in order to listen to playlists in our kitchen. It's not possible. Your play starts at A and goes in alphabetical order. Your first tune can be rock, your second opera, your third jazz, etc. with no option to change other than a single tune advance button. I've got over 1800 tunes on my 20GB ipod and it's impossible to play them in the order you desire with this machine. This is a MAJOR problem and I would not recommend it to anyone who has more than a 2GB ipod. What a bummer!

"Product makes my iPod usefull." on by menksr
Pros: Our music library is at our finger tips
Cons: Back up batteries hard to replace when mounted under cabinets.
Summary: Mounted under kitchen cabinets the iHome takes up no usefull space and provides the means for playing the music we collected over the years. It permits sharing with friends who visit the videos recently created and stored on my iPod. The FM radio and TV channel sound are a bonus.
