5.0 starson by dmanchancePros: Has awesome AM reception which others I bought did not, If like me and love listening to sports radio this is the radio to have. Fm first was full of static and I was disappointed until I found little switch on side and switched to local, now clear!
Cons: Bulky old earphones style from 80's, but I replaced with ear bud style and works perfectly, although I do live in city and get signal easily.
Summary: Using dm or local switch on side makes this radio work perfectly, originally bought 2 other brands and had clear fm but terrible am. Love this unit, lightweight easy to use and one touch weather band. Sound gets very loud, so much even with lawnmower on I can not turn up all the way! Highly recommend.
