The Bottom Line The Tivoli Model Three is a great tabletop radio, but the built-in alarm clock falls short of the digital competition. With its deep and detailed sound, the Boston Acoustics Recepter may well be the world's best tabletop clock radio. While not stereo, the iPod-friendly Tivoli Audio iPAL portable radio delivers full and rich sound. While its sound didn't blow us away, the iYiYi offers improved bass over the iSongBook and decent features in an attractively styled package. The Boston Acoustics Horizon Duo-i is a great-sounding AM/FM/iPod clock radio with plenty of customization and connectivity options.
