CNET editors' buying advice
We have not reviewed this product but here is CNET's buying advice on Refrigerators. This content was chosen based on the features included with this model of refrigerator.
Type of refrigerator: Side-by-side
With side-by-side refrigerators, the freezer and the fresh food compartment get equal real estate. And traditional side-by-side models don't need as much clearance for the doors, so they can be a good fit in galley-style kitchens. They can come with in-door water and ice systems or other gadgets such as TV screens. The average dimensions for standalone refrigerator units are: Width: 35 inches; Depth: 30 inches; Depth with door open 90 degrees: 45 inches; Height: 71 inches. Space-efficient cooks who also want in-door extras will like side-by-sides best.

Feature: Water and ice dispenser
In an attempt to rid the planet of disposable water bottles, water filtration systems for both ice and water are more commonly being offered in the door for most side-by-side refrigerators. Some models also have a "quick fill" feature to speed up the flow of the water and to quickly fill larger containers such as a stock pot. Others feature tall receptacles to fill extra-tall glasses or water bottles. If you're worried about young kids making a mess, check out models that have a lock feature for the water and ice dispenser.
