Pros

Looks like every other fridge on the market.

We are Kitchen Aid appliance fans. We have a Kitchen Aid stove, dishwasher and refrigerator.
We've had this refrigerator for two and a half years. It has worked well during that time. Recently, we have had puddles of water forming on the floor around the base of the freezer. Turns out, the drain in the freezer was clogged. We went online and found out that this happens all the time with these freezers.
Being do-it-yourselfers, we decided, after accessing all the online info that we could, that we would try to fix it ourselves.
We had to remove: the freezer drawer, the bottom basket, the top basket, the ice maker, the back panel, the temperature gauge, a grill-type thing on the back panel, and a total of 15 screws.
The top basket can only be removed using voodoo, a lot of luck, and a couple of screwdrivers held simultaneously on two clips inserted into the freezer wall.
It took us two hours to access and clear the clogged drain. We didn't feel that we had done too badly considering someone had hired a repair man and it took him an hour and a half of expensive time. Our extra half hour came from trying to figure out the magic involved in removing the top basket and the grill-type thing on the back panel. The only thing EASY to remove were the screws.
These refrigerators are pretty expensive for them to need such maintenance after only two years and have a such a design flaw. I've never had to spend so much time and effort on any of my previous refrigerators.
If you are looking for a fridge, check to make sure that people aren't complaining about the freezer drains. Because it looks like a lot of them have this problem. And it's a complete PAIN IN THE *** to fix.
Avoid this one.

I Have had nothing but trouble with KitchenAid - refrigerator and diswasher as well. Both were high expensive units and broke down too early in their life. Diswasher in 4 years and now regfrigerator after 6 - this cost me $1,000.00 dollars in repair for the refrigerator alone. Customer service was very bad - I am stuck with them but you don't have to be.
