Given the iPod's versatility as a both a portable and home-based music center, it's no surprise that adding an RF remote to the mix will make life much easier. The best one we've used is Griffin Technology's $40 AirClick. From the polished and sleek design of the five-rubber-button remote and the receiver that mounts atop an iPod and includes a headphone pass-through to the impressive through-one-wall range of about 30 feet (rated for 60 feet), the AirClick is the clicker to pick. We especially like the remote's hold switch, the built-in belt clip, and the remote cradle, which can be worn as an armband.
